
Maintenance of Safe and
Healthy School Environment
(Including Disaster and Risk Management
The provision and maintenance of safe and healthy school
environment have always been a top priority concern of
the Academy of Christian Excellence Montessori, since its
inception in 1994. Its related policies, programs and activities
are in compliance with the requirements of the Department
of Education, and the local government of the Municipality
of Cainta, Rizal primarily for the benefit of the students, the
school personnel and families directly transacting with the
school management, teachers and staff.
In compliance with health and safety protocols mandated
by the government’s Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF)
on Covid-19, the following programs/activities will be
undertaken, over and above those already in place:
A. COVID-19 Related Protocols
1. Conduct general cleaning and disinfection of the
whole campus: classrooms, laboratories, offices, library,
auditorium, equipment, furniture and fixtures and the
whole school surroundings.
2. Post signages and information bulletins on the school’s
health and safety protocols;
3. Provide sanitary alcohol at the entrance gate for use of
all entrants;
4. Fill out visitor’s log upon entrance to the campus.
5. Subject all entrants to a Thermos scan to check on their
body temperature, those with temperature higher than
37.5°c, will not allowed entry;
6. Provide disinfected Holding Area for clients waiting to
be served.
7. Require all entrants to wear face mask/face shield all the
time and step on foot baths in major entrances
8. Provide disinfectants, hand soap and sufficient water
supply in all comfort rooms;
9. Station sanitary alcohol at the entrance of all offices and
other strategic places inside the campus;
10. Coordinate with the Barangay or Municipal Officer in the
event of COVID-19 related emergencies for immediate
response.
B. Existing Health and Safety Programs/Activities
1. ACE Montessori secured a Memorandum of Agreement
(MOA) with a reputable health facility nearest to school
with whom we will coordinate in case of COVID-19
related emergency.
2. A COVID-19 Task Force has been organized to take
charge of the school’s concern on the health, safety,
disaster and waste management.

3. Large garbage bins for both biodegradable and nonbiodegradable
materials are provided at the strategic
locations inside the campus.
4. ACEM has a Sanitary Permit, annually issued by the
Office of the Municipal Mayor of Cainta
C. COVID-19 Information Drive for Students
The following reminders will be posted in all strategic
areas around the campus.
1. Maintain social distancing
2. Stay in your designated learning area during class
sessions
3. Stay in your classroom during breaks. Wait for canteen
personnel to serve you.
4. Keep your one-meter distance from each other all the
time.
5. Hanging out and loitering in the campus after classes
are strictly prohibited.
6. Turn away or excuse yourself from people before you
sneeze or cough.
7. Dispose used tissue paper and other waste materials
properly.
8. No physical contact please.
9. Walk cautiously. Running is strictly prohibited anytime
and anywhere.
10. Wear mask all the time. “No mask, no entry”
11. Sanitize your hands with alcohol always.
12. Step on the footbath before you enter major entrances.
13. Report to your teacher any feeling of physical discomfort
immediately.
14. Borrowing or exchanging of personal things is
discouraged.
15. Bringing money is discouraged. Let your parents or any
adult representatives pay your bills in school.
